I'm Emerson, a designer who approaches every pixel and particle with care and intent.

I studied at Rutgers University–New Brunswick, where I double-majored in Design and Information Technology. I’m currently a graphic designer at Regency Group, where I create branded collateral. My day-to-day includes designing on a screen that gets produced into something you can hold in your hands.

When I am not at work, I enjoy bouldering, drawing, and reading comics. My favorite comic right now is Absolute Batman, come talk to me about it!

I love traveling! Recently, I had the chance to visit Munich, Germany and Paris, France. I would love to visit Taiwan and Japan in the future. I'm incredibly grateful for these experiences; it is important to my design process to experience and understand how different languages and cultures shape design 🌏✨

While I am an introvert, I enjoy taking the time to participate in different extracurriculars and socialize with my peers. I love hearing different stories from people—there’s a whole world out there to explore!

At Regency Group, we work with over 100 clients to create print and non-print design collateral. My role includes creating print-ready proofs using the Adobe Creative Suite, ensuring each design aligns with the distinct brand identities of our various clients. On the production side, I verify that final designs meet quality standards and accurately reflect the client’s design vision and brand story. I also contribute to the company’s user experience by streamlining the business card ordering process, making it more intuitive and efficient for clients.

Witness to Mass Incarceration • Remote, New York City, NY
A non-profit organization dedicated to supporting incarcerated individuals. In my role, I developed and tested design components to ensure usability across two websites with over 1,000 visits. I designed and implemented interactive web elements using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to enhance user experience and functionality, and optimized user flows to improve navigation and create a seamless browsing experience.
